AceShowbiz - Linkin Park are suing an insurance company after its officers refused to compensate the rockers for a string of gigs canceled because of frontman Chester Bennington's back injury. The band pulled out of six concerts in 2008 after Bennington hurt his back while putting together a toy for his son.
The "Crawling" hitmakers then attempted to claim back the lost profits through Lloyd's of London but were denied, with officials alleging the ailment was pre-existing when the insurance policy was granted. Now the group has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit in a bid to recoup the cash, reports TMZ.com.
Linkin Park are currently preparing their next studio album and refuse to rush it because they put quality as the main priority. Recently, they were also involved in fundraising effort for Haitian relief by releasing their unreleased song in a compilation album.
