AceShowbiz - Yungblud is set to debut a new radio program on Sirius XM titled Yungblud Radio, airing at 10 p.m. ET every Monday on the Alt Nation channel (Number 36). The inaugural episode is scheduled to broadcast tonight, marking the start of what promises to be a diverse listening experience.
The artist describes his musical selections as a “schizophrenic amalgamation of the greatest music of all time.” To give listeners a sense of the variety, Sirius XM provided a sample playlist to Rolling Stone that includes tracks like Fontaines D.C.’s “Here’s the Thing,” Sam Fender’s “People Watching,” Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” and a live recording of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Flying High Again.” Additionally, Yungblud plans to feature songs from bands such as Oasis, The Cure, and Arctic Monkeys.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, Yungblud expressed his enthusiasm for the new venture. He said, “Radio has always been such an iconic format to me. Some of my earliest memories when discovering music was because of radio. Now, to have my own show on SiriusXM, broadcasting all over North America is something I’m so proud of.” He added that the program will be a lively musical journey, inviting fans to tune in: “To be able to listen to music with all of you is gonna be such a riot. I’ll be on the air every Monday, baby! Tune into Yungblud Radio if you dare.”
Yungblud Radio aims to offer listeners a unique blend of genres and eras, reflecting the artist’s broad and eclectic taste. With a weekly slot on a major digital platform, Yungblud is poised to bring fresh excitement to the radio airwaves and connect with fans through his carefully curated selections.
