“I'm letting y’all know,” Ebro stated. “Anybody that got beef with Akademiks, Drake, or anyone else, can watch how the algorithm moves against them. Pay attention to it. Ebro explained that artists and their teams have become more cautious, requiring additional information before agreeing to join his shows. “Now things are tougher,” he said. “We don't even have the cosign of the heritage logo. We're not traditional media anymore. We're just people on YouTube.” He added that even longtime contacts are now demanding press kits before committing to bookings, a significant shift from previous experiences.
