Shoresy's foul-mouthed hockey journey continues. Can his Sudbury Bulldogs keep their perfect streak? The acclaimed Letterkenny spinoff with a 100% Rotten Tom...

AceShowbiz - Shoresy has aired multiple successful seasons, leaving fans curious about how much longer the series will continue. As a spinoff of the acclaimed Canadian sitcom Letterkenny, Shoresy has earned critical and audience praise, holding an impressive 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The show centers on the foul-mouthed hockey player Shoresy, who originally gained popularity as a colorful antagonist in Letterkenny.
In Shoresy, the protagonist relocates to Sudbury, Ontario, to join the AAA hockey team, The Bulldogs. Tasya Teles portrays the team’s owner, who immediately takes a disliking to Shoresy’s brash demeanor and wants him off the team. However, Shoresy negotiates to keep his job and creative freedom by promising never to lose a game, despite assembling a team that lacks professionalism. The series shares several creative ties with Letterkenny, including involvement from Jacob Tierney, who directed the first two seasons of Shoresy, and Jared Keeso, who stars as Shoresy and co-created the series.
With co-creator Jared Keeso focusing on other projects, fans have speculated about whether season six might mark the end of the show. This uncertainty was addressed in an interview with ScreenRant’s Jordan Williams during the season five release on Hulu. Tasya Teles was asked if she believed Shoresy could match the longevity of Letterkenny, which ran for 12 seasons. Teles responded with enthusiasm for the show’s future, saying, “I mean, I think all of us would love that - if the powers that be, if that's what the future holds. I think, like I said, we're all family, so we're very excited to work together and see each other at every opportunity we get. And we love the fans and we love the show and we love the story. So I think all of us would be thrilled to keep it going. Yeah.”
The success of Jacob Tierney’s recent project, Heated Rivalry, which became a cultural phenomenon over the winter of 2025-2026, has increased demand for hockey-themed stories. However, Tierney stepped back from directing Shoresy after the second season to focus on this new romance series, and Keeso has shifted his creative focus elsewhere. Despite this, there is no current information indicating that the series directors, brothers Dan Skene and Sean Skene, are planning to depart. They are expected to continue leading the show through at least part of season six.
Before her role in Shoresy, Tasya Teles appeared in popular CW series such as iZombie, Supernatural, and The 100. As a key member of the ensemble cast, she has demonstrated a strong ability to balance the show's humor, drama, and emotional depth.
Jared Keeso and Jacob Tierney have been instrumental in bringing international recognition to Canadian television through their work on Letterkenny, Shoresy, and Heated Rivalry. Whatever their future endeavors, they are likely to continue drawing attention and maintaining the dedicated fan base they have built over the past decade.
Currently, season five of Shoresy is available for streaming on Crave in Canada and drops onto Hulu in the United States on Saturday, February 21.
