AceShowbiz - This week’s music releases showcase a return for Bruno Mars, presenting his first solo album in ten years. Leading the releases is Bruno Mars with The Romantic, following up his 2016 record 24K Magic.
The nine-track album blends soul, bossa nova, and R&B, featuring the single "I Just Might." Other songs include "Cha Cha Cha," "God Was Showing Off" and "Why You Wanna Fight?" showcasing Bruno Mars’s signature style.
Joining the spotlight is K-pop sensation BLACKPINK, the group made up of JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, and LISA. They return with the mostly English EP DEADLINE, featuring five tracks. The Diplo-assisted lead single "Jump" delivers high energy, while the follow-up "Go" includes a co-writing credit from Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
British singer RAYE contributes with her new ballad "Nightingale Lane," a track filled with emotion. This song is the second single from her upcoming album This Music May Contain Hope, following her previous hit "Where Is My Husband!"
Additionally, this week features pop-rock artist Towa Bird’s single "Gentleman," British vocalist Elmiene’s double release from his forthcoming album Sounds for Someone—the slow jam "Honour" and the midtempo "I Want In"—and Belgian pop star Angèle’s collaboration with French dance duo Justice on the bilingual track "What You Want."
