AceShowbiz - The global sensation BTS has made a significant impact on YouTube’s weekly charts with their comeback album ARIRANG and its lead single, "Swim". The group dominates the streaming giant’s Global Top Songs chart, placing 11 tracks within the top 100, including the No. 1 spot secured by "Swim," which amassed over 83 million global views during the tracking week.
On the U.S. Top Songs chart for the week ending March 31, BTS also leads with "Swim," which garnered more than 6.2 million views from American fans, known as ARMY. This figure surpasses the runner-up by nearly two million views, with the second-highest being "Golden" from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, notably the first K-pop song to win an Oscar for Best Original Song.
Beyond the new tracks on ARIRANG, older hits from BTS continue to perform well. Their 2020 chart-topper "Dynamite" ranks at No. 81 on the Global chart, outpacing the newer single "Please," which appears at No. 90.
As reported earlier, the South Korean septet is dominating music charts worldwide. "Swim" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking BTS’s seventh time leading the chart. Additionally, the group holds the No. 1 position on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts, achieving an eighth No. 1 on each ranking since their reunion.
BTS also impressively occupies the top nine spots on the Global 200, tying Taylor Swift for the most top 10 entries in a single week and the most simultaneous charted songs starting at No. 1.
The album ARIRANG, BTS’s first studio release of new material since 2020, debuted at No. 1 on the U.S.-based Billboard 200 albums chart, marking their seventh album to do so. It also topped the Official U.K. Albums Chart and the ARIA Albums Chart in Australia.
Following its release on March 20, Spotify announced that ARIRANG set records as the most-streamed album in a single day globally for 2026 so far and became the most-streamed K-pop album in Spotify’s history.
It is important to note that as of January 16, YouTube has ceased supplying streaming data to Billboard’s charts, including both U.S. and global rankings, effective for the charts dated January 31 and onward.
BTS’s continued success on multiple platforms underscores their massive global influence and the enthusiastic support of ARMY worldwide.
