AceShowbiz - Alliance Home Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios have announced the home video release date for Season 2 of the critically acclaimed Prime Video series Fallout. The post-apocalyptic show will be available on DVD, Blu-ray, 4K UHD, and a Limited Edition Amazon Exclusive 4K UHD Steelbook on May 19.

The release includes all 8 episodes from the season across a 3-disc set, along with over 30 minutes of bonus features. These include a commentary on Episode 8 "The Strip" with Moten and MacLachlan, featurettes titled "Welcome Back To The Wasteland" and "New Vegas," a hilarious cast interview segment called "Fallout: Fake Talkshow," RobCo Animated Series shorts, and "Fallout: The Ghoul Log" available on Blu-ray and 4K UHD releases.

The series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner, with Justin Theroux and Macaulay Culkin also starring. Season 2 picks up after the epic finale of Season 1, taking characters Lucy (Purnell), Maximus (Moten), and The Ghoul (Goggins) on a journey through the Mojave Wasteland to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.

Based on one of the greatest video game franchises of all time, Fallout is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films. Executive producers include Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Athena Wickham, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Graham Wagner, Todd Howard, James Altman, and Margot Lulick. Robertson-Dworet and Wagner serve as executive producers, creators, and showrunners.

The series has received critical acclaim, with USA Today's Kelly Lawler noting, "The apocalypse has never felt so good." Season 2 was directed by Frederick E.O. Toye (Episodes 1 "The Innovator," 2 "The Golden Rule," and 8 "The Strip"), Liz Friedlander (Episodes 3 "The Profligate" and 5 "The Wrangler"), Stephen Williams (Episodes 4 "The Demon in the Snow" and 7 "The Handoff"), and Joy (Episode 6 "The Other Player").

The Limited Edition Amazon Exclusive 4K UHD Steelbook comes complete with 8 collectible art cards, offering fans a premium packaging option for the post-apocalyptic series. An official trailer for Fallout Season 2 has been released, giving viewers a glimpse of the upcoming home video release.
