Carrie Anne Fleming was born on August 16, 1974, in Nova Scotia, Canada. Early in her life, she pursued her passion for the arts by studying drama at the Kaleidoscope Theatre and dance at the Kidco theatre dance group. She initially worked as a model before transitioning to acting.
Her first television role came in 1994 with the TV movie Viper. She also had an uncredited appearance in the 1996 comedy Happy Gilmore, starring Adam Sandler.
Among her most notable performances, Carrie Anne Fleming portrayed Candy in the television series iZombie from 2015 to 2019.
