AceShowbiz - The 9-1-1 universe is expanding with a special two-hour crossover event featuring characters from the original series journeying to its new spin-off set in Nashville.
On Thursday, ABC released a promo for the crossover event between 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville, scheduled to air on March 5 at 8/7c. The storyline follows Buck (Oliver Stark) and Eddie (Ryan Guzman) as they travel to the Tennessee capital for a national competition.
The event kicks off with the Season 9 episode of 9-1-1 titled "Dads and Cads," where Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Buck face surprising news that shakes their lives. Simultaneously, Buck and Eddie are chosen to compete in the national firefighter games, prompting their trip to Nashville.
The crossover continues with the Season 1 episode of 9-1-1: Nashville, called "Spirit of the Games." Here, the competitive tensions escalate between Ryan (Michael Provost) and Don (Chris O'Donnell). When Don suffers a hand injury, Blue (Hunter McVey) steps in to take his place in the games.
Oliver Stark previously hinted at the crossover in an interview, mentioning it would be a fun experience without revealing specific details. Fans can expect an exciting blend of drama and competition as familiar characters from the Los Angeles-based series interact with the new Nashville cast during this special event.
