Noah Wyle wins Best Actor at the 2026 Golden Globes for his role in The Pitt, delivering a heartfelt speech honoring healthcare workers and his wife.

AceShowbiz - Noah Wyle received the award for best actor in a TV drama for his role in The Pitt at the 2026 Golden Globes, held on January 11 at The Beverly Hilton.
The award was presented to Wyle by actress Priyanka Chopra and Lalisa Manoban from the popular music group Blackpink. In his acceptance speech, Wyle expressed heartfelt gratitude, particularly to healthcare workers, and acknowledged his wife, Sara, who was celebrating her birthday on the same day.
“What a truly humbling moment this is,” Wyle remarked as he took the stage. “Oh my goodness. I am so incredibly grateful and I don’t know how to say all my gratitude for 54 years at 60 seconds. I’m indebted to so many people. I’ve been inspired by so many people, many of whom I’ve got the great honor of being nominated with this evening.”
Wyle, who stars in the HBO Max medical drama that recently premiered its second season, was nominated alongside notable actors including Sterling K. Brown for Paradise, Diego Luna for Andor, Gary Oldman for Slow Horses, Mark Ruffalo for Task, and Adam Scott for Severance.
During his acceptance speech, the ER alum shared his background, stating that he “was raised in a family that put a high priority on art and on curiosity and on service.” He emphasized the invaluable contributions of healthcare workers, saying, “I’ve benefited from incredible teachers and I’ve received some incredible advice from some very good friends. I’ve been supported by an incredible wife and three great children all along the way. I’m so grateful for this. …And to all the healthcare workers in the world, thank you. Lastly, to my beautiful wife, Sara, happy birthday. I hope you’re enjoying your party.”
This accolade marks yet another triumph for Wyle, who recently won the Critics’ Choice award for best actor in a drama series on January 4, and the Emmy for best lead actor in a drama series last September.
