AceShowbiz - Brandi Glanville, best known for her role in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," landed in hospital recently. The Bravo alum took to social media to share an update on her struggles with a mysterious facial parasite that has caused significant distress.
"My head and neck would not move for four hours this morning. I could not get out of my bed," Glanville posted on X, revealing that she had to call 911.
In a separate post, Glanville, 52, shared photographs from her hospital stay, showing her hooked up to an IV and expressed her frustration with the medical expenses, "I hate this place but should be another fun ambulance bill."
Her condition, marked by painful swelling and acid drainage from her face, prompted a trip to the emergency room. Her ongoing battle with the severe symptoms began in October 2023 when her face swelled up and her eyes shut.
Glanville has sought help from various medical professionals, including a consultation with "Botched" star Dr. Terry Dubrow. However, finding effective treatment has proven elusive.
"We talked and did some tests but that didn't really go anywhere," she admitted, highlighting the challenges and frustrations of her quest for a diagnosis.
The toll on Glanville is not only physical but also financial. "I'm out of funds. I've spent over six figures at this point," she confessed to Us Weekly.
The Bravo star has turned to platforms like OnlyFans to keep afloat financially. Through it all, Glanville remains vocal about her struggles in the hopes of finding support and solutions.
She previously shared photos of the drainage from her face and pleaded for help from specialists, "I need an infectious disease Dr. that specializes in fungal infections? HELP."
