Season 14 of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' has seen its fair share of drama, but none quite match the emotional turmoil surrounding PK and Dorit Kemsley's separation. Here's what went down!

AceShowbiz - PK Kemsley, aged 57, refused to join "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 14 reunion and explained why. In a statement, he addressed his estranged wife, Dorit Kemsley, revealing that he felt hurt by the claims she made about him on the show.
"I was invited to be part of the reunion but declined because I don't believe engaging with Dorit in this forum would be constructive. Dorit has made several mischaracterizations about me, but the one I must address is the claim that I am a bad father," he said in the statement read by Andy Cohen.
He added, "That statement is both heartbreaking and false. It is deeply hurtful to me and more importantly, to our children, who, despite Dorit's assertion, will inevitably see and hear all of this at a time not of our choosing. Those closest to us know the truth."
PK's reaction was related to an episode aired in February. During a dinner with costars including Kathy Hilton, Bozoma Saint John, and Erika Jayne, Dorit claimed the women were "wrong" about PK being "a good father" to their two children, Jagger, 10, and Phoenix, 8.
PK elaborated further in his statement, claiming that he had asked well-wishers not to speak out in his defense as he believed that "the truth should never need a champion." He reflected nostalgically on the Dorit he once knew, hoping that kindness, integrity, and grace would once again define her character.
PK and Dorit announced their separation in May 2024 after nine years of marriage. Fellow cast member Kyle Richards seemed to concur with PK's sentiment, admitting, "I think this season I saw a Dorit that I didn't know. You, perhaps, would even agree with that yourself… She seemed a lot more aggressive than usual."
Reflecting on their current dynamic, Dorit insisted she still had love for her husband but noted a lack of any substantial relationship. Addressing PK's sobriety, a hot topic since Dorit called PK a "fully-blown alcoholic" during the season premiere in November 2024, she admitted, "It's not a topic we discuss, as I've discovered very recently. So I couldn't answer that."
Dorit linked PK's refusal to discuss his drinking habits to the deterioration of their relationship, poignantly recounting, "The way you're making me feel in this moment, I don't think I can have a relationship with you. Even a friendship."
The reunion, and indeed the whole season, offers a raw glimpse into the real-life trials behind the glamor, pointing to deeper issues that transcend the glitz of reality television.
