The former 'Wendy Williams Show' host has been spotted smiling and scootering through an airport in Florida as she continues her fight to end her guardianship.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams looked upbeat as she navigated Miami International Airport on Saturday, February 15, riding a scooter and flashing a wide smile. It was a stark contrast to her depressed self just a few days ago when she was cooped up in her apartment building and pleaded to end her guardianship.

Williams is currently in Miami to celebrate her father's 94th birthday. The former talk show host wore black fuzzy boots and a matching coat as she made her way through the airport.

It is the first time she has been able to socialize with others in months. She is expected to reunite with her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., during the family gathering.

Williams' appearance in Florida comes as she continues her legal battle to end her guardianship. She has filed an affidavit requesting that a judge remove her legal guardian, Sabrina Morrissey.

Williams claims she has "regained capacity" to function independently and does not have frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which her doctors diagnosed her with in early 2024.

Williams' lawyer plans to file an "Emergency Order to Show Cause" after she is re-evaluated by a doctor on February 18. A judge will then decide whether or not to terminate her guardianship.

Wendy Williams has been criticizing her guardianship as an emotional abuse that left her feeling isolated. She also claimed she had no access to her finances, leaving her only with $25.
