AceShowbiz - Blake Lively just can't seem to take a break as more behind-the-scenes drama involving her surfaced. Just as the "Gossip Girl" alum is gearing up for the release of her new movie "Another Simple Favor", some serious accusations are flying her way.
Remember the first film, "A Simple Favor"? Well, apparently, it wasn't all sunshine and cocktails on set. A woman named Barbara Szeman, who's listed as an assistant director on the first movie, has been spilling some tea about her experience with Lively. And it's not exactly glowing.
Szeman's comments popped up on Henry Golding's Instagram post about the sequel. She started off kinda vague, telling Golding, "I worked with you on the first one. My experience with everyone was absolutely amazing, except for a certain someone who is the reason I quit being an AD."
Then, she got a little more pointed, adding, "Guess who that person is…," before wrapping up with, "I wish you all the best with this though!"
As many people became intrigued, Szeman eventually elaborated. She said she didn't want to cause a stir, but felt she had to speak up because Lively was supposedly "cruel to many."
Szeman added, "I know I cried my way home many nights because you try so hard to please someone who is never pleased and puts you down constantly." She even brought up Lively's other legal drama with Justin Baldoni from "It Ends With Us", saying, "I can’t believe it’s actually getting back at her. Karma is real."
After her comments blew up online, Szeman seemed to have some regrets, writing on Facebook, "Last time I leave a comment on an Instagram post." When a friend expressed surprise, saying they'd heard Lively was lovely to work with, Szeman replied, "maybe for them. Not for me lol."
This new drama is happening while Lively's already dealing with a messy legal situation with Baldoni. They're both suing each other for defamation, harassment, and extortion among other things. Baldoni even launched a website and released texts and behind-the-scenes footage to try and clear his name.
And now, these "A Simple Favor" allegations are just adding fuel to the fire. Stay tuned for more updates.
