Katy Perry fans, brace yourselves: the pop icon is back and preparing to bring her 'Lifetimes' tour to multiple continents after a seven-year hiatus from the road.

AceShowbiz - Pop sensation Katy Perry announced her highly anticipated "Lifetimes" tour, marking her first extensive tour since 2017. Known for her electrifying performances, Perry promises that her latest tour will be nothing short of a spectacular celebration of music, akin to "Disneyland on Wheels."

Launching in Mexico City in late April this year, the tour will cover multiple major U.S. cities, followed by performances in Australia, Europe, and South America. Perry will play her entire discography of hits while also introducing tracks from her recent albums, "143" and "Smile," the latter of which never got a tour due to her maternity leave in 2020.

"We're giving BPM. We're giving celebration. We're giving unity. We're giving dance," Perry excitedly tells Rolling Stone. "It will be like Disneyland on Wheels, as it always is. A feast for the eyes and the ears."

She added, "I always remember the audience is a hybrid of different types of people: It's number one fans, and then it's voyeurs. It's people that only know me for one song, and then people that know 'Simple.' It's such a smorgasbord. I have a responsibility to the audience to give them that singalong, to create that moment, and to bring out some nostalgia."

After completing the U.S. leg, Perry will head across the Atlantic for her first full UK tour in seven years. In a philanthropic twist, £1 from every UK ticket sold will be donated to the Music Venue Trust, an organization that supports grassroots music venues.

Perry says, "I'm proud to donate £1 from every ticket on the UK leg of The Lifetimes Tour to Music Venue Trust so that venues like Water Rats and Scala, where I played my first UK shows, can continue to usher in the next generation of music talent."

With stops in cities such as Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, and London, UK fans are eager to see their pop idol perform live after such a long wait. The tour is not only a testament to Perry's staying power in the music industry but also her commitment to giving back to the community that helped launch her career.

Tickets for the North American leg of the "Lifetimes" tour go on sale on January 31, with presales starting on January 28 and 29. UK tickets will be available from November 22. Given the excitement surrounding the tour, fans are advised to secure their seats as quickly as possible.

From hit singles to deep cuts and new tracks, Katy Perry's "Lifetimes" Tour promises to be an unforgettable musical journey that you won't want to miss.
