'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Bozoma Saint John has undergone a life-changing surgery amid her desire for another baby while dealing with the devastating loss of her house.

AceShowbiz - Bozoma Saint John, the acclaimed businesswoman and former chief marketing officer of Netflix, recently underwent a significant surgery to remove uterine fibroids. The decision, which she detailed on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", stems from her desire to have a baby with her boyfriend, Keely Watson.

During an episode of the "After Show", Bozoma shared that she had 12 fibroids removed, one of which was comparable to the size of a grapefruit. "Fibroid surgery was so, it was a scary thing, because who wants to have surgery?" she candidly told her co-star Dorit Kemsley. Despite not facing a life-threatening condition, she chose the surgery as a precautionary measure.

Uterine fibroids are noncancerous tumors that can lead to severe symptoms like painful menstrual bleeding, lower back pain, and difficulties during intercourse.

According to Bozoma, "I know that there are a lot of women who have very severe symptoms of their fibroids - I wasn't one of those people. However, they were large, they were growing. And I just felt like, why wait until some other point where I don't have a choice in order to do it?"

Her decision was also deeply personal and intertwined with her aspirations to start a family with her boyfriend, especially considering her age. "I'm 47 years old, but I want to have a chance to carry a child," she expressed.

The surgery's success was crucial for Bozoma, as she stressed that with the fibroids, she had "zero chance [at conceiving]" and wanted to take the steps necessary to have a shot at motherhood.

The path to this decision was fraught with challenges, particularly as Bozoma continues to rebuild her life following the tragic loss of her Malibu home due to the Pacific Palisades fire.

Reflecting on the devastation, she wrote on Instagram, "This is the house I wanted. The house I prayed for... This is an unimaginable loss. I grieve with the rest of Los Angeles as it burns… and even though I've found even words to write here, there's nothing that I could say in this moment to describe this feeling."

Despite the tumultuous period, Bozoma remains hopeful and resilient. Her relationship with Keely Watson has been a source of support and strength. The California resident and mother of a 15-year-old daughter from her late husband, Peter Saint John, shared in a confessional, "I want to start a family with him."
