The highly acclaimed 'My Hero Academia' franchise continues to expand with the announcement of its final anime season and a new spin-off anime adaptation.

AceShowbiz - The "My Hero Academia" manga may have concluded in August 2024, but the excitement continues as the anime prepares for its eighth and final season. Premiering in autumn 2025, this season will conclude the Final War arc of the story and mark a decade-long run for the beloved anime since its initial premiere in 2016.
In addition to the final season, fans were surprised with the announcement of an anime adaptation for "My Hero Academia: Vigilantes", a popular spin-off manga. Set to premiere in April 2025, this adaptation will depict the story of Koichi Haimawari and his team of aspiring heroes who fight for justice despite their lack of official recognition.
The "Vigilantes" anime is a collaboration between Studio Bones Film and creators Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court. A teaser trailer gives a glimpse of the three new vigilantes who will join the fight against evil in the "My Hero Academia" universe.
To accommodate the "Vigilantes" anime, the broadcast of "My Hero Academia" final season has been shifted to autumn 2025. This move allows fans to enjoy a double dose of "My Hero" excitement next year.
"My Hero Academia" continues to captivate audiences through its various mediums, including the manga, anime and films. The latest film, "My Hero Academia: You're Next", recently premiered and will be released on home media in Japan on February 19, 2025.
