Hulu has greenlit a third season of its twisted romance series, 'Tell Me Lies,' which chronicles the turbulent and toxic relationship between Lucy (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen (Jackson White) over eight years.

AceShowbiz - "Tell Me Lies" has been renewed for a third season at Hulu. Based on the novel of the same name by Carola Lovering, the series follows Lucy and Stephen's college relationship and its lasting consequences on their lives and those around them.
Meaghan Oppenheimer, who created the show, will continue as showrunner. Along with Van Patten and Jackson White, the cast includes Cat Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder, and Tom Ellis.
Hulu has not released detailed viewing data, but notes that Season 2 of "Tell Me Lies" remained in the streaming platform's "Top 15 Today" list for over 50 consecutive days.
After the Season 2 finale, Oppenheimer expressed uncertainty about a third season but stated she would be content with leaving stories unresolved. However, the streamer's decision to renew the series indicates a strong audience demand.
"Tell Me Lies" is produced by 20th Television. Oppenheimer serves as an executive producer alongside Emma Roberts, Karah Preiss, Matt Matruski, Laura Lewis, Stephanie Noonan, Shannon Gibson, and Sam Schlaifer. Lovering is a consulting producer.
In a recent interview, Oppenheimer hinted at a potential time jump in Season 3, with a greater focus on the future timeline. She explained, "As time goes on, we'll get more and more of the future... By the third season, we will still have some 2008 [timeline] because there's stuff that we have to wrap up there, but I think it would be a little bit shifted."
The release date and episode count for Season 3 have not yet been announced.
