AceShowbiz - Katie Holmes might be thinking about Suri Cruise in a new sighting. The former "Dawson's Creek" star looked downcast amid a rumor suggesting that her daughter has called it quits with Toby Cohen.
In a series of pictures that made their rounds online on Wednesday, December 4, it could be seen that the 45-year-old actress was out and about in New York City. She was photographed strolling around the city alone.
During the relaxing outing, Katie appeared to be not in a good mood. She was pictured keeping her head low as she walked on the side of a street. She was fixing her bag on her shoulder while showing a stoic facial expression, without a smile on her face.
For the solo stroll, Katie opted to wear a comfy outfit that made her body warm. She rocked a white hoodie underneath a navy blue coat, which came with white fur. She completed the look with a pair of long black wide-leg pants and matching leather shoes.
"The Secret: Dare to Dream" actress also carried a big brown shoulder bag, in which she kept her belongings. She covered her eyes with a pair of brown sunglasses. In addition, her long brown locks were parted in the middle.
The new sighting came shortly after it was reported that Katie's daughter Suri had split from Toby. Speaking to Daily Mail earlier on Wednesday, a source spilled that Suri and Toby ended their romantic relationship before going to college in August.
"They split quietly at the end of summer," the source revealed. "Suri believed she was in love and wasn't afraid to show the world, so the breakup was not easy on her, but she has worked through this with the help of her friends."
"She was good friends with him for a long time so that made it especially hard but she's a strong young woman," the insider explained. "When she started school and they both went away she knew she had made the right decision. They are currently not in communication, but she has no hard feelings towards him."
Suri and Toby went public with their romance in June. At that time, he went to prom with her as his date. Since then, the two, who are 18 years old, were not shy to show their affection towards each other.
