AceShowbiz - Malcolm Barrett is facing a legal problem for allegedly raping a woman. The actor portraying Seth Reed on "The Boys" reportedly is under investigation after he was accused of sexually assaulting his alleged female pal.

On Monday, December 2, some law enforcement sources spilled that the 44-year-old actor is being investigated following the allegation against him. Speaking to TMZ, the sources said, "a woman contacted the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department last weekend, claiming that after a night of drinking with Malcolm, she woke up in bed to find him touching her."

According to the sources, the woman also alleged that Malcolm performed sexual intercourse with her against her will. About what happened the night before, the woman, who claimed that she has been friends with him for months, said that "the night started off pretty normal with drinks" in Los Angeles before it continued at his place.

The media outlet noted that the woman "underwent a sexual assault kit" after she filed the report. In the meantime, it was revealed that "the LASD Special Victims Bureau is now handling the case."

As of Monday, the investigation is still ongoing and no arrests have been made. Furthermore, Malcolm and his representative have not publicly addressed the accusation.

Earlier that day, Malcolm was active on his Instagram page. He even shared with his fans his new milestone. In his new post, he treated his followers to a photo from his recent stand up gig in New York. He was captured letting out jokes in front of the audience.

Along with the picture, the Leon Montgomery depictor on "Average Joe" wrote in the caption, "First time doing stand up in NY in 21 years!!" He went on to say, "Talked my s**t. The return to stand up the last 3 years has been a Godsend. Shout out to #Jen and the @nycomedyclub."
