In the clip, the 32-year-old musician could be seen giving her daughter a firearm lesson while out in a forest. The little girl apparently did well as he managed to pull the trigger multiple times.

Her proud dad applauded her by giving her an applause. "Welcome to the south. Got them babies started early today," so the North Carolina star, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, wrote in the caption.

Upon catching wind of DaBaby's post, some Internet users quickly lauded the rapper for his parenting. "Our kids should be taught young too!! I LOVE THIS," one Instagram user wrote in a comment. Another penned, "Yall not from the country, and it shows. This is normal in the south."

"Before you start. There is nothing wrong with this. Better for a child to know proper gun safety than to not."

"His child, his decision," another added. Someone else wrote, "All I see is DaBaby teaching the baby how to properly defend herself so what's the problem."
