When promoting her memoir at the Lyceum Theatre in London, the 'You Haven't Seen the Last of Me' singer reveals that her next album may also be her last one.

AceShowbiz - Cher apparently is ready to ditch her music career. After rising to fame around six decades ago, the "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me" hitmaker hinted at her retirement and teased her next album, which may also be her last.

Recently, the 78-year-old legendary singer made an appearance at the Lyceum Theatre in London, the United Kingdom. She arrived at the venue to promote her memoir titled "Cher: The Memoir, Part One".

When she spoke with the audience, Cher opened up about her next album, which will be her first record since 2013 that features her original songs. She told the crowd, "This is probably my last album that I'm gonna do."

Cher went on to voice her feelings for the upcoming set, "I'm really excited. They are great songs and I'm just really excited that I'm doing it. I'm really excited to be doing anything now." On the reason why she is retiring from music, she said, "I'm older than dirt now, OK?"

The songstress further explained, "I'm the oldest person I meet in almost every room unless I'm in an old folks' home." She continued, "I keep having to tell these [younger] girls like, 'Get over yourself, get out there. You've got your whole life ahead of you.' "

Cher candidly shared one of her wishes, "I don't care if you're 50. I'd give anything to be 60 again. I was a f**king hottie! It's weird too because I know I'm older, but I don't know how to feel it. I don't know how to feel any different than the way I've always felt."

During the chat, Cher, who is in a romantic relationship with much younger artist Alexander Edwards a.k.a A.E., also talked about spending time with younger people. She stated, "I like hanging with younger people, not just men. I like young people because a lot of my friends don't want to have that much fun. They can just go off and be old fogies."
