AceShowbiz - On Saturday evening, November 23, Adele brought her blockbuster Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace to an emotional close. The British singer, 36, expressed her mixed emotions as she recalled the "f****** rocky" beginning to her stay in Sin City.
At the time, Adele was forced to cancel her entire 24-date residency at the 11th hour due to claimed COVID-19 cases among crew members. Now, reflecting on that difficult period, Adele admitted that 2022 had been the "worst year of her life."
"I was being punched around, it was horrible," she told the audience. "I was told it was career suicide and Vegas would never forgive me."
Despite the adversity, Adele expressed her gratitude for Vegas giving her a second chance. "I am bursting with pride and so proud of myself and so proud of my team," she declared.
After her speech, Adele joined her fiancé, Rich Paul, 43, and son, Angelo, 11, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki, 50, in the audience for a tender embrace.
In addition to the emotional farewell, Adele also took time to address her future plans. "I'm looking forward to having loads of spare time to love on my kids, to love on my man, and to love on another kid," she revealed. "I need to get back to my own life."
As she prepares to hibernate and indulge in red wine, Adele expressed her excitement for the prospect of catching up on TV and setting New Year's resolutions. "I feel like I'm early hibernating already," she remarked.
