Police have reportedly found the watch stolen from Travis Kelce's home during a burglary spree targeting high-profile athletes in Kansas City, Milwaukee in October.

AceShowbiz - Authorities announced on November 22 that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's watch was retrieved in Providence, R.I., as part of an investigation into a series of home burglaries. The break-ins have affected athletes in Kansas City, Milwaukee, and elsewhere.

Kelce's home in Leawood, Kan., was burglarized on October 7 while his teammate Patrick Mahomes' home in Missouri was also targeted the day before. Police reported that no forced entry was detected at Mahomes' residence.

At the time of Kelce's break-in, the Chiefs were playing in Kansas City, and police found a broken rear door and reported that $20,000 was taken.

Other athletes affected by the burglary spree include Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis, whose home in Wisconsin was burglarized while he was at work.

Sources familiar with the investigation suggest the break-ins may be linked to an international crime ring, particularly from South America. The NFL has issued a warning to security directors and the players' union regarding the ongoing thefts.

Authorities continue to investigate the burglaries, and no further details have been released at this time.
