Model Sofia Richie talks about her new role as a first-time mother and reveals that she and husband Elliot Grainge have given baby girl Eloise her own cell phone.

AceShowbiz - Model Sofia Richie, 26, and her husband, Elliot Grainge, welcomed their daughter Eloise into the world in May 2022. Since then, Richie has shared interesting tidbits about her 5-month-old baby.
In an appearance on the "Therapuss" podcast hosted by Jake Shane, Richie revealed that Eloise has her own "little baby phone." Shane jokingly shared that he has text conversations with the baby girl and recalled a recent exchange where Eloise gave him the cold shoulder.
"I said, 'Eloise, do you mind if me and your mommy talk about how perfect you are on the podcast today?' And she said, 'No, keep my name out of your mouth,' " Shane said, prompting laughter from Richie.
The proud mother confirmed that whoever is with Eloise at the time receives her phone. In this case, Ali Meller, a close friend of Richie's, was handling the device and sent some sassy replies on behalf of the infant.
Despite Eloise's mock resistance to being talked about on the podcast, Richie gushed about the immense love she has for her daughter. "My life makes sense now. I've never loved anything more in my life," she expressed.
In addition to using her "little baby phone" to connect with loved ones, Richie revealed that Eloise has several nicknames, including Bug, Ella Bean, Ella Bug, and Ellie. The baby's father, Elliot, affectionately calls her Chuck Chuck.
While Richie's bond with Eloise is evident, she has also shared her experiences with postpartum health challenges. After giving birth, she was hospitalized for preeclampsia and experienced extreme swelling. However, both mother and daughter are now thriving, with Richie expressing gratitude for their health and well-being.
