Contrary to the buzzing rumors of cancellation, HBO has insisted that production on the third season of Zendaya-fronted 'Euphoria' is still scheduled to commence in January 2025.

AceShowbiz - HBO has vehemently denied rumors that the third season of the hit series "Euphoria" has been canceled. Production on Season 3 remains on schedule to begin in 2025, as previously announced in July 2023.

Despite reports that Zendaya Coleman's involvement in Christopher Nolan's upcoming film would conflict with "Euphoria" production, HBO assures fans that this is not the case. The main cast, including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, and Hunter Schafer, are all expected to return.

The series, which follows a group of high school students grappling with drugs, sexuality, and trauma in the digital age, has been on hold since the conclusion of Season 2 in 2022. Production has faced delays due to industry strikes and the tragic loss of cast member Angus Cloud in July 2023.

Besides rumors of scheduling conflict, season 3 was plagued with reports of feud. The professional relationship between Zendaya and "Euphoria" creator Sam Levinson, once described as "thick as thieves," has reportedly seen better days. The stressors began piling up as Levinson, who was supposed to focus on "Euphoria" season 3, shifted his attention to another HBO project, "The Idol", which has since been called off due to negative reception.
