AceShowbiz - Tyla has treated her devotees to a new music video for her single titled "Push 2 Start". In the newly-released footage, the songstress, who is famous for her hit "Water", is painted in South Africa flag colors.
On Thursday, November 7, the 22-year-old South African singer, whose full name is Tyla Laura Seethal, launched the visuals of "Push 2 Start" on YouTube. In the 2-minute video, it can be seen that she is heading to a car wash station with a group of female dancers.
Tyla gets on top of a black car while two of the dancers wash the vehicle. The songstress, who is rocking a black bra top and a pair of denim shorts, apparently has no problem with her clothes getting wet as the bubbles are all over her.
The short clip also documents Tyla showing off her skills in dancing. At one point, she performs complex choreography along with the dancers, who wear bra tops and shorts in various colors. All of them stand in front of a huge fan, which blows out bubbles.
At one point, Tyla dances alone in a hall. She trades the black bra top and denim shorts for a sparkling all-silver outfit. Furthermore, her skin is covered in body paint that comes in South Africa flag colors, including black, blue, yellow and red.
For the particular look, Tyla puts on a pair of huge hoop earrings and a necklace. She completes the look with a pair of high boots, which she later takes off. In addition, her long curly hair is styled in an up-do.
After dropping the music video, Tyla was showered with praise by her listeners. One in particular gushed, "It's giving [Beyonce Knowles] and Rihanna. And since these two aren't giving us this anymore, please do so Ms. Tyla. The torch is yours."
Another chimed in, "She BODIED this! The visuals and the choreography were on point! Plus. The video was sexy but not over the top. I appreciate that. Tyla's a classy lady." A third marveled, "Love the South African reference like the SA car number plates and also her being painted as the SA flag colors ( Black,Blue, Yellow, Red, Green and White)."
"Push 2 Start" itself was released on October 11. The track, on which Tyla conveys "a desire for mutual effort and motivation in a relationship," serves as the second song from the reissued edition of her self-titled debut studio album.
