Departing from her usual red carpet style, Jolie showcased voluminous beachy curls, styled with a side parting. She complemented her look with drop earrings, bold red lipstick, and subtle eye makeup.
The film, directed by Pablo LarraÃn, follows Callas's retreat to Paris after a tumultuous life in the public eye, as she reckons with her identity and legacy. Jolie underwent extensive training to portray the renowned soprano.
Speaking to PEOPLE at the premiere, Jolie expressed her connection to Callas's character, noting their shared experience of solitude and dedication to their work.
"I think what we have in common maybe is that we share a certain loneliness in kind of sometimes doing our work where we're the one, I don't know, up at night, alone, trying to figure something out," Jolie said.
The actress, who is known for her sleek hairstyles, debuted her new curly look amid Oscar buzz surrounding her new movie. The film will hit theaters on November 27 before streaming on Netflix on December 11.
