AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson, 30, was spotted on Thursday, Oct. 24th, attending the sneak preview of "The Room" at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles with Machine Gun Kelly. It was his first public appearance since seeking treatment for his mental health over the summer.
In July, Davidson checked into a wellness facility to address issues related to PTSD and borderline personality disorder. For his outing on Thursday, he wore a red FDNY T-shirt, paying homage to his late father, Scott Matthew Davidson, an N.Y.C. firefighter who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks when Davidson was just 7 years old.
Davidson previously opened up about his father's passing, both in interviews and on social media. He has spoken about the difficulty he faced in coping with his loss, including how the way he learned about his father's death contributed to his PTSD.
"My dad told me he was going to pick me up from school on 9/11," Davidson said during an appearance on actor Jon Bernthal's "Real Ones" podcast. "I got picked up by my mom - she didn't tell me what was going on for like three days."
Davidson also discussed his borderline personality disorder, which includes symptoms such as fear of abandonment. He attributed this fear to his father's absence in his life.
Despite his ongoing mental health struggles, Davidson remains committed to seeking help and improving his well-being. He expressed gratitude for the support he has received from his loved ones and fans.
