AceShowbiz - GloRilla could not hide her excitement upon learning that Rihanna showered her with praise. The "Yeah Glo!" raptress vowed to start working on a new song after the "Umbrella" singer shared the reason why she liked the former as an artist.
On Saturday, October 19, the 25-year-old female hip-hop artist made use of her Instagram page to upload a video of RiRi mentioning the former's name. In the short clip, it could be seen that RiRi was having an interview at the event of her clothing brand SAVAGE X FENTY.
RiRi was documented answering questions from a man. At one point, he asked, "If there was a SAVAGE X FENTY theme song, who would you want to sing it?" RiRi was taken aback by the question as she took some time to think before sharing her answer. She simply said, "Hold on!"
RiRi went on to say, "GloRilla," with her hand gesture. On the reason why, the songstress explained, "To see a young lady who is still grounded with who she is and where she came from and I love that." In return, the man gushed, "Kinda like you," prompting RiRi to laugh before saying, "Thank you!"
Along with the footage, Glo voiced her excitement in the caption of the post, "Lemme head to da studio & start working on dis song," adding a slew of laughing emojis. She continued, "ion play bout rihrih @badgalriri I luv youuu."
After letting out the video, Glo received supportive messages from social media users. One in particular exclaimed, "Glorilla aint never let the money change her!! Same with Sexyy Redd & rihrih!! Real humble & grounded." Another chimed in, "GLO literally jump off the porch and took the world by storm!! Idc how you feel about her you cannot deny she is doing her s**t!!!"
This was not the first time Rihanna showed her support for Glo. Previously, RiRi sent Glo a text about a new album, seemingly waiting for Glo to launch it. The message read, "You got all summer sis! I know dis wild hypocritical, but when the album drop?" RiRi also let out shrugging and red heart emojis.
