Singer Summer Walker previews her upcoming album with a promo video featuring voicemails from her ex, Lil Meech, referencing their infamous social media exchange.

AceShowbiz - Summer Walker, a prominent voice in R&B for the past five years, is teasing her third studio album, titled "Finally Over It", On October 11, she unveiled the album's lead single, "Heart of a Woman", accompanied by a captivating teaser video.
In the video, Walker sits in her bedroom in a nightgown, listening to voicemails left by her ex-boyfriend, Lil Meech. One voicemail references Meech's infamous social media explanation from 2023, where he claimed he was "helping his cousin with groceries" after being caught entering a woman's apartment on a Ring camera.
"Damn, you gonna do me like that?" Meech asks over the phone. "Hit me back. I was just helping my cousin with the groceries. Let me know when you can talk."
Another voicemail continues, "Let me know when you can talk. Call me back." A third says, "I know you're finally over it, but damn, let's talk about it," and a final, "I love you."
The accompanying song snippet features Walker singing about the complexities of their relationship, "Question is, why I do the things I do/ Answer I may never find, but I'll always choose you/ Wanna give up on you, but damn, I know I can't."
"Finally Over It" will be the third in a series that began with Walker's debut album, "Over It". It marks her first full-length LP since "Still Over It", which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2021.
