Seemingly fed up with mean comments addressed to him following his breakup from his baby mama, the YouTuber makes the public plea with the help of his toddler son.

AceShowbiz - DDG apparently has had enough of mean comments aimed at him since he announced his split from Halle Bailey. Utilizing his ultimate weapon, his son Halo, the rapper has pleaded with critics to stop being "mean" to him.

On Tuesday, October 8, the father of one made use of his son's cuteness to make the public plea. Over on his account on X, formerly known as Twitter, he posted his shirtless picture with his toddler son, who was twinning with him in black pants.

DDG took their selfie in what looks like a walk in closet, which still keeps some of Halle's belongings as a pair of black wedges were seen on a shoe rack behind him. He wrote in the caption, "stop being mean to my dada - halo."

The plea, however, did not stop people from trolling DDG. Commenting on the tweet, a user wrote, "Your dada is a p***y." DDG caught wind of the negative response and quickly hit back, mocking the critic, "u used google translate to type that."

DDG announced his split from Halle on Thursday, October 3, less than one year after they welcomed their son. He wrote, "After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it's the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we've spent together and the love we've shared."

The 26-year-old reiterated, "We are still best friends and adore each other. As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we've built and the beautiful moments we've shared."

In a following interview on "No Ordinary Podcast", DDG expressed his regret to being in a relationship when he was younger. He said that he would advise his younger self, at 22, to stay single longer and focus on his career and personal development.

"It's best for you to be single in these years of your life so you can really grind. Ain't nobody going nowhere...unless a girl get a new n***a or something…whoever you like in this moment, but get your ducks in a row first and grind and not have no restrictions," he said.

The streamer further likened relationship to "a part-time job," elaborating, "You gotta always consider their feelings, so it's like you can't really work how you wanna work, and if I can tell myself something at age 22, I would tell myself not to get into a relationship because it's damn near like having a part-time job. You really have to apply a lot of time and effort."
