Brie's post did not mention her sister's estranged husband, but it was shared on the same day that Artem broke his silence on the incident. Artem expressed gratitude for the dropped charges and emphasized that his focus remains on co-parenting with Nikki. He also stated that his "focus has always been and will always be" on their 4-year-old son, Matteo.

Following the incident, Nikki filed for divorce from Artem on September 11. While neither party has publicly acknowledged their split, representatives for both have spoken out.

Nikki's representative asked for privacy, while Artem's lawyers stated that the couple is "focused on co-parenting and working together for the best interests of their son."
