Crosby appeared in five films, including "Tight Spot" and "The Phenix City Story", directed by film noir mastermind Phil Karlson.

Crosby met her future husband, Bing Crosby, while conducting interviews for her Hollywood column on the set of "White Christmas" in 1954. The couple married in 1957, and although she curtailed her acting career post-marriage, she continued to make appearances with Bing and their three children in his Christmas television specials and in commercial campaigns.

Earning her credentials as a registered nurse in 1963, Crosby balanced her passions for acting and healthcare. She hosted the "The Kathryn Crosby Show," a 30-minute talk show based in San Francisco in the 1970s, and appeared sporadically on other programs and stage productions following Bing Crosby's death in 1977. Notably, she performed in the 1996 Broadway revival of "State Fair."

Additionally, she exhibited her charitable spirit by hosting the Crosby National Golf Tournament in Bermuda Run, North Carolina for 16 years. Crosby's devotion to her family never waned; she was married to Maurice Sullivan in 2000 until his untimely death in a car accident in 2010.
