AceShowbiz - To enhance season 4 of the popular Netflix series "Bridgerton", the production team has gone to extraordinary lengths by recreating one of the show's iconic landmarks, Bath's Royal Crescent, at a studio in west London. Previous seasons utilized real locations, but Season 4's set aims to simplify filming logistics and pave the way for a longer-running show.
Sources reveal that the new set includes a full-scale replica of the Royal Crescent, complete with Madame Delacroix's shop and other familiar streets and buildings. The set will serve as the backdrop for the Featherington residence.
In addition to streamlining production, the use of sets is reportedly intended to entice more A-list stars to join the cast. Bosses are said to be investing heavily in season 4, paralleling the financial backing given to the successful period drama "The Crown".
The fourth season will center on the romantic adventures of Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson. He embarks on a quest to find the enigmatic Lady in Silver, Sophie Baek, portrayed by Yerin Ha. Sophie, who is forced into servitude, disguises herself to attend Violet Bridgerton's masquerade ball, where she crosses paths with Benedict.
Despite the disappointment of a lack of intimate scenes in Part 1 of season 3, fans are now being treated to a steamy six-minute sex scene between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) in Part 2.
Production for season 4 is currently underway, although a start date has yet to be announced. The use of sets is expected to significantly enhance future seasons of "Bridgerton", as it removes the logistical challenges of filming at key locations and opens the door for even more grandeur and excitement.
