Even beloved stars have their 'what if' moments. For Josh Gad, voicing Olaf in Disney's 'Frozen,' that moment comes with a twist: he wishes he had given Olaf a different voice.

AceShowbiz - Josh Gad, known for voicing Olaf in Disney's "Frozen" movies, recently confessed his wish to have used a different voice for the character. During an interview at Fan Expo Canada, Gad stated, "I would not have lent that snowman my voice. I would've created a different voice."

Gad's reasoning stems from the difficulty of escaping recognition in public due to his distinctive voice. "It's very weird being in a supermarket and having a little child go like this," he said, turning his head to the side. "That was my first big mistake."

Despite the challenges, Gad acknowledges the positive aspects of being recognized. "People tell me I have a very unique voice," he said. "People seem to like my voice, so I try to give it to them when I can."

Gad has portrayed Olaf since 2013's "Frozen," including in its 2019 sequel and various shorts in the franchise. The third installment of the "Frozen" series, scheduled to release in November 2027, is already in development, along with a fourth film.

Despite his regret, Gad's distinctive voice will undoubtedly continue to be associated with Olaf, making him a lasting icon in the hearts of countless 'Frozen' fans worldwide.
