In a new interview with Teen Vogue, the 'Sorry Not Sorry' singer revals that she 'instantly had a crush' on the Canadian songwriter and is ready for the future with him.

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato has found a partner for life in Canadian songwriter Jordan "Jutes" Lutes. The singer, who uses she/they pronouns, opened up about her relationship with Lutes in a recent Teen Vogue interview, revealing an instant connection. "I live and breathe for our connection. Everything I do, I wish I was with him. I see my future with him. I see growing old with him," she shared.

The couple's love story began in January 2022, when they co-wrote Lovato's song "Substance". Lutes has also collaborated on other tracks from Lovato's eighth album, "Holy Fvck". They went public with their romance in August 2022 and were engaged in December 2023 after a "personal and intimate proposal" in Los Angeles.

Lovato, who recently debuted as a director with the Hulu documentary "Child Star", expressed a desire to start a family with Lutes someday. However, they're not ready to give up their alone time just yet. "I don't even want to share their faces in pictures on Instagram when they're born," they noted. "I want them to have that anonymity... I share a lot with the world and I just want some things to be mine."

Celebrating her 32nd birthday on August 20, Lutes dedicated a heartfelt Instagram post to Lovato. "Happy birthday to my whole world. You deserve nothing but happiness and love because that's what you give to everyone you meet," he wrote. "You’re truly unstoppable and I'm so lucky I get to watch you grow from up close."

Lovato reciprocated the love in the comments, calling Lutes the best part of her birthday. "The best part of my birthday today was not only waking up to 32 lil kisses but knowing that this year I get to marry my soulmate," she commented. "I can't wait for our future together. You make life so much sweeter, my honey bun. I LOVE YOU!!!"

Amidst the outpouring of affection, Lovato's mother Dianna De La Garza also chimed in, expressing her gratitude to Lutes for making her daughter's day special.

Lovato's celebration didn't stop there. On her own Instagram, she shared photos from her childhood to the present day, expressing her gratitude to her fans and friends. This year also marks a milestone in her musical career, with the release of "Chula", a bilingual collaboration with Grupo Firme, and the upcoming documentary "Child Star".
