Netflix has revealed the leading lady for the fourth season of 'Bridgerton', Korean-Australian actor Yerin Ha, who will play Sophie Baek, Benedict Bridgerton's love interest.

AceShowbiz - Netflix has officially announced Yerin Ha as the leading lady for "Bridgerton" Season 4. Ha will portray Sophie Baek, the love interest of Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson).

Sophie, known as Sophie Beckett in the books, is a maid who has faced hardship throughout her life, working for a demanding employer. Despite her circumstances, she is a resourceful woman determined to overcome them.

Sophie's life takes a turn when she attends Lady Violet Bridgerton's masquerade ball in disguise. There, she encounters Benedict Bridgerton, changing both their lives forever.

Ha is known for her role on "Halo" and will star on "Dune: Prophecy". She is a South Korean actor from Australia and attended the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney. Her parents and grandmother were also actors.

Sophie's last name has been changed to Baek as a nod to Ha's Korean heritage. "It's a really nice way for me to feel like the role is fit for me, rather than me having to fit a certain mold," Ha said.

Production for season 4 is underway, and filming will begin in the fall. The new season will explore Benedict Bridgerton's love story and promises a warmer vibe compared to previous seasons. While the release date is yet to be announced, sources indicate it could be up to two years away.
