AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion and RM of BTS (Bangtan Boys) have released their highly anticipated duet "Neva Play" on Friday, September 6. The track features alternating rap verses from both artists, each displaying their unique flow and style.
Meg praised RM's verse, claiming it was one of her favorites and acknowledging his distinctive rapping style. This collaboration marks Meg's second venture into BTS' world, having previously joined the band on a remix of their Billboard Hot 100-topper, "Butter".
The release of "Neva Play" comes amidst a busy time for Meg, who recently released her album "Megan" and starred in a Pepsi campaign alongside Travis Kelce. She also graced the cover of Billboard, where she discussed various topics, including the rap scene and the upcoming election.
While BTS has paused full-band activities due to mandatory military obligations, individual members have pursued solo projects. RM has released his album "Right Place, Wrong Person", which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
The limited-edition CD single for "Neva Play" is set to ship out this week. Meg will also host and perform at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on September 11, where she is nominated for seven awards.
