The new drama comes after Chrishell Stause threatened to quit the series over lies that co-star Nicole Young created about fellow cast member Emma Herman.

AceShowbiz - A new controversy has plagued the upcoming season of "Selling Sunset". New cast member Amanda Lynn landed in hot water after her old racist tweets were exposed in a viral TikTok video.

Ahead of season 8 premiere on Netflix, Amanda faced backlash for her old posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, resurfaced online. The newbie could be seen using the N-word in some of the problematic tweets, made in 2012 and 2013.

"Tim- 'I'm gonna invent a line of electronic cigarettes for black people called N***arette' [laughing emoji] WTF," one of her tweets read. Another saw Amanda replying, "Hahaha love her," to a tweet that read, "When my grandma says 'look at that n***ers hair.' Bahahaha."

"The newbie is Amanda Lynn. She's also a real estate agent and she also has a racist past," the caption read. "From the season eight trailer, it looks like Amanda Lynn is the one who goes to Bre with the tea about Chelsea's husband. Someone sent me these old tweets that are from Amanda Lynn. And Amanda Lynn has used the n-word multiple times."

While Amanda has yet to comment on her resurfaced racist tweets, "Selling Sunset" star Chelsea Lazkani weighed in on the matter. "I'll tell you all the truth about the cast this season so you can make a decision on who to support."

Chelsea, who also reposted the TikTok video, said on her social media account. "Most of you have been blind for so long and I'm sorry I didn't before. I wanted to keep the peace to avoid being bashed or seen as jealous," she added. "But really and truly WHY would I need to be jealous of anyone let alone women [sic] who do not look like me. I am my own mirror in the office and I've held my own since DAY 1. I fear no b***h."

That isn't the only drama hitting the new season of "Selling Sunset". Recently, Chrishell Stause made headlines after she threatened to quit the series over lies that co-star Nicole Young created about fellow cast member Emma Herman.

"Someone needs to take my phone," the actress wrote. "Are we really still giving air time to LIARS that just want air time? I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued."

She added, "Disclaimer when you watch: just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE."

Chelsea also took to Instagram to voice her displeasure. "Good morning everyone, except for [Nicole Young]. [Nicole] you are the most diabolical piece of [trash] I've ever met," she said, before adding, "Spreading lies for views is so damaging."
