AceShowbiz - Maxwell "Maxi" Drew Johnson is growing up right before our eyes. The first child of singer Jessica Simpson is now taller than her mother as seen in a new adorable photo shared via social media.

On Sunday, September 1, Jessica offered social media users a look at her height compared to that of Maxwell. Making use of Instagram Stories, the 44-year-old singer/actress treated her followers to a sweet picture of her and her 12-year-old daughter.

In the never-before-seen snap, it could be seen that Jessica was standing up close next to Maxwell, who has towered over her mother. The mother and daughter duo were striking a pose at what appeared to be a church. Both of them looked in good spirits as they flashed their radiant smiles at the camera.

Jessica looked stunning in a black dress that came with red rose graphics all over it. The clothing piece also featured a plunging neckline, allowing her to expose her cleavage. She accessorized herself with a pair of clear glasses, which she placed on top of her head, and a silver bracelet that had a big green stone. In addition, her long blonde tresses were styled in a simple straight hairdo and parted in the middle.

In contrast, Maxwell went with a casual and comfy ensemble. She opted to wear an oversized white tee that featured "NEW YORK" and " 'What we play is life' " signs on its front side. The T-shirt also came with piano and hand graphics. She enhanced the look with a silver bracelet on one of her wrists. Furthermore, her blonde locks were styled in a sleek ponytail.

Jessica shares Maxwell with her husband Eric Johnson. Aside from Maxwell, the "Take My Breath Away" songstress and the guitarist/vocalist, who tied the knot back in 2014, are parents to their two other kids, 11-year-old Ace Knute and 5-year-old Birdie Mae.
