AceShowbiz - Chloe Bailey responded to chatters surrounding her new album "Trouble in Paradise". In a new video on her social media account, the one half of Chloe x Halle addressed fans being shocked about the raunchy lyrics on her songs.

While lying on her bed, she said, "Everybody's like, 'OMG! Chloe, these lyrics…' Like, somebody is pushing this agenda." She explained, "No, it's just me," before she compared herself to Velma, the "sweet nerd" in "Scooby Doo".

"That's what I feel like. Velma on the outside, but inside, I'm just a rabbit," she added. "So everyone's like, 'Oh my gosh, the lyrics are so raunchy! Oh my gosh!' Well, you know, that is my inner thoughts."

The protegee of Beyonce Knowles further noted, "Lady in the street, but a freak in the sheets. And only few have seen that side. But many have heard it in my songs and music. And everyone is confused and shocked. Well, it's not an act, baby!"

Fans quickly showed love and support for Chloe on Instagram comments after her video was reuploaded by The Neighborhood Talk. "She's literally grown. They ain't gone be the same little YouTube Chloe and Halle yall knew back then. They’re newly grown women experiencing life while being a celebrity. Give them grace," one fan wrote.

"She is 26 if she wants to sing about getting freaky let her damn," another fan similarly said. Slamming the critics, one noted, "Y'all don't know that damn girl, how the hell y'all tryna tell ppl you don’t know who they are?!"

Someone added, "Why is everyone so bothered by @chloebailey . I think she's so talented and she’s herself." Referring to Chloe's sister Halle Bailey, another penned, "Y'all accept Halle having an actual baby but Chloe can’t even sing about sex. Make that make sense."

Meanwhile, some others left praising comments for Chloe over her sophomore album. "Chloe, the album is wonderful I'm a singer, so I'mma say vocally speaking I'm in additionally to A to z speaking!! Everybody else can kick rocks with open toe shoes. Imo," a fan gushed. Another raved, "The album is [fire emojis]. I'm so proud of her."
