AceShowbiz - Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has taken inspiration from "[Emily in Paris]" to tease the upcoming release of Part 2 of her Netflix docuseries, "Simone Biles Rising". In a Wednesday teaser, Biles parodied memorable lines from Lily Collins' titular character in "Emily in Paris" while announcing the October 25 return of her docuseries.

Part 1 of "Simone Biles Rising", which premiered in July, chronicled the athlete's journey back to Olympic glory after her decision to step away from the Tokyo 2021 Games due to mental health concerns. The first two episodes explored institutionalized racism and sexism within her sport, as well as Biles' reaction to the Larry Nassar abuse case.

Episodes 3 and 4, which will be released on October 25, will follow Biles through the Olympic trials and into the 2024 Summer Games in Paris. According to director Katie Walsh, the docuseries aims to provide an intimate perspective on Biles' experience as a human being, with her "good days and bad days."

"That's part of the excitement of this, is that we don't know the ending," Walsh said. "We'll be with her throughout the Games, and it's awesome to be able to have access to her and spend time with her in this window of her life that's in technicolor."

In the Paris Olympics, Biles won three gold medals in the all-around, vault, and team events, as well as a silver medal for her floor routine. Her performance was the culmination of years of intense training and preparation, captured in the upcoming episodes of "Simone Biles Rising."

Biles promoted Part 2 of her docuseries with a humorous video that spoofed "Emily in Paris." In the clip, she sips bubbly at an outdoor table, shops for designer items, and declares, "I'm not somebody who can share a crêpe. I need the whole crêpe."

Part 1 of "Emily in Paris" season 4 and Part 1 of "Simone Biles Rising" are currently streaming on Netflix. "Emily in Paris" season 4, Part 2 will premiere on September 12, while "Rising" Part 2 will premiere on October 25.
