AceShowbiz - Channing Tatum, the star of "21 Jump Street" and "Magic Mike," recently whisked his family away on a three-day adventure to the historic and enchanting town of Salem, Massachusetts. The actor's 11-year-old daughter, Everly, was particularly enthusiastic about their trip, as she has a keen interest in Halloween and witchcraft.
Tatum and Everly were led on their spooky tour by the renowned Witch City Walking Tours, which catered specifically to Everly's interests. The family visited iconic locations such as Gallows Hill Theatre, the Witch Dungeon Museum, the Peabody Essex Museum, and the Rebecca Nurse Homestead. They also delved into the chilling past of the Salem Witch Trials by exploring the Samuel Parris archaeological site in nearby Danvers.
Beth Crowley, the tour company's owner, praised Tatum for his dedication to his daughter throughout the experience. "He was just amazing with her," Crowley said. "It shows character."
Along with Tatum and Everly, their nanny, Tatum's sister, and family friends joined in on the Halloween-themed excursion. The group participated in a broom-making class and received private tarot card readings at the popular witchcraft store Pentagram. Crowley emphasized that the entire tour was meticulously planned with Everly in mind.
Despite his star status, Tatum was reportedly approachable and down-to-earth throughout his time in Salem. Crowley described the atmosphere as "hanging out with friends." Local businesses also went above and beyond to make the experience memorable, even creating a custom "Magic Mike" sweatshirt for Tatum featuring a Michael Myers mask.
Tatum and his family left Salem filled with gratitude and appreciation for the city's embrace of their Halloween spirit. Crowley noted that their focus was on providing Everly with a unique and unforgettable experience, which they will undoubtedly cherish in the years to come.
