The 'Gone Girl' actor and ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, continue to team up for the sake of their children as the actor faces ongoing marriage woes with estranged wife Jennifer Lopez.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck continued to prove that they have an amicable co-parenting relationship. If a new report is to be believed, the former couple took a trip to Japan before the actor's 52nd birthday.
The exes reportedly brought their children, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 to the East Asian country. A source close to Affleck tells Fox News Digital, "They're best friend exes and the epitome of good co-parenting."
Jennifer herself documented her latest vacation on Instagram. On Thursday, August 15, the "13 Going on 30" star shared pictures of memorable moments and her itinerary. "Dream trip to Japan: a to do list," she began the post.
While traveling abroad, Garner visited temples and shrines, taking in the serenity of Tenryu-ji and the Kinkaku-ji Golden Pavilion in Kyoto. She also posed in Tokyo and saw the famous 3D cat billboard in Shinjuku, asking can "this guy visit LA, please?"
Between temple visits, Garner took in the food scene. In one image, she wore a bib while eating ramen noodles. She also posted an oyster farmer catching the shellfish in nets.
In another video, which she calls "the triumph of the former picky eater," the actress tentatively takes a bite of abalone. "Honor the life forces that feed us," she captioned the slide.
