AceShowbiz - In an unlikely movement, a number of apparent Taylor Swift fans have been rallying for Donald Trump. "Swifties for Trump" is trending on X, formerly known as Twitter, with photos and videos of young girls wearing Trump merchandise surfacing online.

"The Kamala campaign is starting to panic now that Swifties for Trump is starting to gain some momentum," a user wrote along with a picture of a blonde girl sporting a T-shirt that read "Swifties for Trump." Another user remarked, "Swifties for Trump are bold and beautiful. Smart people waking up."

"Swifties for Trump probably not making Taylor Swift to happy but lady made point," a third weighed in. "Maybe she wouldn't of had a terrorist threat at recent show if Donald Trump was president right now."

Others, however, disapproved of the trend, speculating that the Grammy winner would not condone the movement considering her own political stance, which has been leaning to the left. "Taylor swift would hate you then," someone warned the alleged Swifties who are supporting Trump. Another claimed, "obviously don't know who Taylor Swift HATES."

"Guys. Don't you know it's Swifties for Kennedy, not Swifties for Trump," another said, pointing out Swift's past relationship with Conor Kennedy. A fourth person penned, "Swifties for trump is so funny cause Taylor wouldn't spit on you b***hes if y'all were on fire."

Someone suggested that the movement was likely orchestrated by Trump's team, claiming, "Swifties for Trump are MAGA delulu. Cry to a Taylor song on November 6." Other other claimed, "Swifties for Trump may be a thing, but Swift for Trump most definitely is NOT."

"Swifties for Trump is a very TINY portion of the fandom. Most of us feel the way Taylor does, about the treasonous, traitorous Trump," someone else argued. "Mea Swifties for Trump is cute but it's just a matter of time before TS comes out and says 'if you're voting for Trump, don't bother being my fan. Harris 2024' she's a childless liberal white woman, she loathes Trump & all his supporters," someone predicted, while another slammed those rallying for Trump, " 'Swifties for Trump' are just racist white b***hes."

While fans have been divided over the movement, someone came with a resolution. "Before Taylor alienates herself from more than half of her fans to support another toxic political candidate, Swifties for Trump is making sure all Swifties know they can absolutely love America, Trump, and Taylor Swift at the same time," they wrote.

Swift has not publicly declared her support for a candidate in the upcoming presidential election. However, in the past, she wasn't shy to voice her disdain for Trump and his controversial decisions during his presidency.

"After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? 'When the looting starts the shooting starts'??? We will vote you out in November," the pop icon tweeted back in 2020.

She additionally criticized the then-president, "Trump's calculated dismantling of USPS proves one thing clearly: He is WELL AWARE that we do not want him as out president. He's chosen to blatantly cheat and put millions of Americans' lives at risk in an effort to hold on to power."
