AceShowbiz - Britney Spears thinks she looks better in white. Showing off her dance skills in a new video, the pop icon made a bizarre claim about how she looks smaller and thinner in white outfits, which she found "odd."
In the clip uploaded to her Instagram page on Thursday, August 15, the 42-year-old star danced in his living room, which many of her fans have found familiar due to her previous dance videos. Wearing a white crop top with long sleeves, she paired it with pink bikini bottom and a pair of white knee-high boots.
The "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker accessorized with a black choker and styled her blonde hair loose waves. She performed energetic dance moves to a song which played in the background.
In the caption, Britney shared her thought on wearing white. "Weird wearing white usually makes people look bigger !!! I look like I drop 5 sizes and shorter when I wear white !!!" she boasted.
"Useless information but I think it's odd !!!" she admitted. "Maybe white is my color !!!" She added, "The baby crying in the background freaks me out every time," referring to the baby's voice on the music she danced to.
Britney wore the same top in a previous video she posted on late Wednesday. In the caption of the post, she said that she had filmed at least 13 dance videos and declared the white crop top her favorite outfit.
"I started today at 3:45[pm] and it's almost 10[pm] now!" the Grammy winner captioned the clip. "I've done over 13 videos and they might not be [advanced] yet but I'm getting there! Yes there are outfit changes but for some reason I had to bring this white top back! Who knows! Oh well have a good day my friends."
Britney appears to be in good spirits after scoring a biopic deal with Universal Pictures. On August 1, she announced via X, formerly known as Twitter, that she's been "working on a secret project" with producer Marc Platt.
Shortly after her tweet, Universal Pictures confirmed the news, revealing that it had secured the rights to the singer's bestselling memoir "The Woman in Me" following a "highly competitive auction." Jon M. Chu, known for directing the upcoming adaptation of "Wicked", is set to helm the biopic, with Marc producing.
