AceShowbiz - Joe Jonas has given more updates on his upcoming second solo album. In a new interview, the Jonas Brothers member explained why "Music for People Who Believe in Love" is "packed" with a "lot of duets."

"We packed it with features," the 34-year-old told Entertainment Weekly. "I was reaching out to a lot of different people because I felt like I wanted to have other narratives and other voices and a lot of duets."

"I felt like some of the songs lyrically needed somebody else's voice," he added. "A lot of this album is speaking in third person or having a conversation with a fictional version of myself, or a fictional person in my life. Being able to have that voice kind of create that was really special."

When appearing on Jake Shane's "Therapuss" podcast last month, Joe did reveal that he worked with some artists for the new set. They include Alexander 23, MUNA's Josette Maskin, Jason Evigan, Tommy English and Paris Carney.

Joe confirmed the title of his new album on July 17. "Music For People Who Believe In Love. October 18th. Preorder now at joejonas.com," he wrote on Instagram, before noting that the project "is a celebration of gratitude, hope, and love. These songs reflect on my life from a bird's-eye view acknowledging the many blessings around me."
