AceShowbiz - Anya Taylor-Joy is seemingly feeling some resentment after failing to land a role in the upcoming "Fantastic Four" movie. The Golden Globe winner reportedly looked pretty annoyed when running into "The Fantastic Four (2025)" cast at a swanky London restaurant.
The "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" star arrived at the Cliltern Firehouse in London on Wednesday night, July 10 at around 8:30 P.M. However, she was photographed making a quick exit after noticing the presence of Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn and Vanessa Kirby as well as director Matt Shakman. The foursome had arrived earlier that night at the same restaurant.
This apparently made Anya lose her appetite as she was seen running out of the restaurant doing her best not to be pictured at 8:34 P.M., three minutes after going inside. She then jumped into her waiting chauffeur-driven car and left in a hurry.
"Anya looked happy and relaxed when she arrived for dinner," a source tells The Sun. "But she left about five minutes later looking pretty annoyed."
"It turned out that Pedro, Joseph and Vanessa were all inside eating and it seems Anya saw them and turned on her heel," the source explains what possibly changed the actress' mind. "She made a quick exit and seemed to be pretty angry by the look of her face."
"It was pretty quiet when she arrived around 8.30 P.M. because of the football, so it wasn't as if there was an issue of space," the source goes on noting. "Seeing as she was axed from 'Fantastic Four', it makes sense that she wouldn't have wanted to hang around."
Last year, it was reported that the 28-year-old was in talks to play a version of the Silver Surfer for the Marvel reboot. However, she has since been dropped from the movie and Julia Garner has reportedly landed the villainous role.
Meanwhile, Pedro, Joseph, Vanessa and Matt continued to hang around in the restaurant and only left just before before 11 P.M., seemingly not aware of the near awkward run-in.
