AceShowbiz - Kai Cenat shared his two cents on the controversy surrounding Sketch. During his new live stream, Kai made sure that he's on Team Sketch, who faced backlash over his gay OnlyFans past.
"Why do people care so much," Kai asked his Twitch followers. "I understand it'd be shocking to a lot of people, but bro. Why does something that somebody else do get you so mad to the point where you gotta go on the internet and bully the n***a."
Kai went on to weigh on the severity of the backlash that his fellow Twitch streamer faced. "You would think that [Sketch] murdered somebody," he said. "You would think this n***a murdered somebody by the way n***as is talking."
Kai then asked his fans to show empathy, adding that he wasn't bothered by Sketch's past. "I'm not in no space to judge anybody for what they do or what they have done," Kai shared. "It doesn't bother me, I don't care."
Sketch made headlines after leaked photos allegedly saw him engaging in sexual acts with other mean. He confirmed that the photos were real as he owned his past, prompting immediate backlash from Internet users.
"That was me," he said during his July 8 stream. "2 years ago I did some stuff, I'm sorry if you've seen some of the stuff." Sketch added that while he was at a different point in his life when he joined OnlyFans, he is now a "changed person."
Among the critics was Antonio Brown, who later back tracked his remarks. "My page comedy & entertainment," he wrote on his social media page. "But I wanted to make sure I let you know I spoke with @thesketchreal this morning. Jokes are jokes but making sure his mental health good. Never know what people got goin on or are goin through."
